Approaching 5000 members

As we approach our 3rd month online (January 10) we also approach 5,000 members who have joined KinkySpace! We could not be happier with the steady pace that the site has been growing. We've had few problems, a minor glitch here and there, but for the most part all of our guests have been on their best behavior ;)
If you are enjoying KinkySpace and hopefully settling in, I'd like to take this moment to point out that we have a great tool for inviting new friends, and finding old friends who may already be here.
On the top navigation bar, you'll see the option to Find Friends. This feature will allow you to do two things. First, you can input your email address and automatically search through your address book to let you know if any of your friends are already on KinkySpace (we do NOT store any of your personal information!!). Second, you can type your email address or favorite messenger service in and choose to invite some or all of your friends who don't yet know about KinkySpace, to join us :). Help us make this site even better by inviting friends who are looking for a kink-friendly social site!

Group Notices on Home Page

We've just added a new feature to our groups module. Now, if a new photo is added to a group, a new topic or post, or if a comment is made on your photo in a group pool, you will see an icon on your group list on your homepage that will link directly to the new item. You'll find the list of groups that you belong to on the left hand side of your homepage! |

Groups just got friendlier!

We've just added some improvements to the groups section of KinkySpace! We're working hard to make groups even better, and are happy to announce the following new features;
1. Bookmarking Topics. You can now bookmark a topic in your group. If there's a conversation that you want to follow, simply click 'Bookmark this topic' and the thread will be saved for you to return to later. You can find your bookmarked topics under Groups / My Bookmarks tab.
2. New Post notifications. Now, anytime a new post is made, there will be a notification on the group homepage that indicates the time when the latest post was created. Previously, it only showed the last change by the owner of the group, so it appeared that nothing was happening within the group even though people were adding posts.
3. Comments on Photos Notification. Anytime someone makes a comment on a photo of yours, you will receive email notification. You must turn this feature on by going to Groups / Group Settings tab, as it is turned off by default.
4. Group Emails. Owners of a group can now send out a bulk message to all members of the group. This is only an internal message and you will not receive an email for this. In the message, you will see that it is from your group owner and there will be a link back to the group.
Coming next is notifications of all updates, comments, etc. that will appear on your user homepage. This part should be finished by next week.
If you have any suggestions to improve groups, now is the best time to give them to us as we're moving on to photo sharing next!

Sitewide Email Preference

It is now possible to stop email coming to you from comments, friend adds, and message notification, all from one place. You will still receive administrative emails, but you can suspend all other KinkySpace.com emails from filling your inbox.
To suspend your email site-wide, simply go to Settings, and select Sitewide Email Preference. |
