An Introduction to
KinkySpace.com and its Purpose
KinkySpace.com is a social interaction website and suite of
communication and indexing services which is designed to put people in touch
with one another, to provide a stage for our users to tell others about
themselves, to facilitate sharing and communicating, and to have some fun by
permitting others to rate our users.
We understand that our users are our most valuable
commercial asset. Their welfare is critical to the success of KinkySpace.com
and we understand that. Accordingly, we have a serious and ongoing interest in
the privacy of our users.
There is a dynamic tension, however, between privacy and
attracting attention. Because our users are attracted to our Services exactly
because the Services give them a forum to show themselves to the world, to learn
the candid attitudes and opinions of others about them, and to participate in
dialog with others about those things, there is necessarily some loss of the
privacy of seclusion – the privacy one would have by avoiding contact with the
rest of humanity or by just not participating in a forum that is available
online to the entire world. Moreover, this website and its services are
operated in the context of a commercial program that depends on revenue from
advertising and other sources to pay for the services that KinkySpace.com
provides. We believe that a rational and sensible policy for the privacy of
information should shield our users to the greatest extent reasonably possible
against indiscriminate disclosure of private information, to the extent
compatible with the functionality of our service and its commercial purposes,
from those who do not have a practical need or reasonable commercial purpose in
possessing the information. This Policy explains how we aim to protect the
user’s privacy and how we determine and implement the appropriate and
reasonable balance of privacy and disclosure consonant with the practical
necessities of functionality and economic viability: We may use and disclose
your personally-identifiable information for any reasonable business purpose.
The Nature of the
Information We Collect
In order for our Services to work and to work economically, KinkySpace.com
needs to obtain from our users some personally identifiable information which
includes the user’s user-selected display name, age, email address, the
user’s gender, the user’s sexual orientation, date of birth, hometown. We also
obtain the user- submitted or posted photographs, graphics, and video and sound
clips and any and all other information that may be submitted in fields and
forms. When the user submits it or otherwise posts information or data, we retain
or may retain the information that was posted. We obtain and store messages
between users and the display names or other identifying information about the
other users with whom they have contact. We keep track of what pages you may
visit on our website and the visits of other users to your page. We may also
obtain your completed forms and questionnaires and take your picture if you
personally attend a promotional event we may sponsor, and the information
collected on these forms will be dealt with just as any other
personally-identifiable information.
We also collect data that may be considered personally
identifiable in a strict sense, but is not routinely used for individual purposes
by us, (called here “technical information”) including the IP address from
which you access our web site, the browser, browser version, operating system,
and screen resolution of the computer you are using. All of these things are
necessary to format our web site for your display and to get it to your
computer. We may use this information in aggregate form to learn how best to
serve the needs and interests of our users. We or third-parties may combine it
with personally identifiable information for the purpose of directed
advertising or other commercial purposes.
Beyond the information you provide when you register for KinkySpace.com
and then later post or enter, we also may ask you to provide information
related to promotions, contents, and events.

usage, to target advertising, and to make the use of its Services enjoyable and
rewarding to everyone involved in it.
Second, we may contact you by email or otherwise to confirm
or terminate registration, to advise you of changes in our Terms of Service, to
deal with any issues particular to you, or to promote events, services, and/or
products that we or third-party vendors may wish to bring to your attention. We

there.
