Someone on KinkySpace is harrassing/threatening me - what can I do about it?
If you feel you and/or someone you know are in danger, contact law enforcement immediately.
Do not respond to any messages from the person. Keep all copies of correspondences from the person who you believe is harassing you. Block the person from contacting you by selecting 'block this person' from the users profile.
Remove the individual from your Friend List and delete any Comments they have left on your Profile page.
If they created a defamitory profile about you or someone you know, you can contact customer service here. (Make sure to include the link to the profile!) In order to block a user you have to be logged in to your profile. After you log in go to the profile of the user you want to block. On the user's profile, select the Block User link or button. Just click on the button/link to block them. The user will not be notified that you have blocked them. Once they're blocked they won't be able to leave comments on your profile or send you private messages. They will also be removed from your KinkySpace friends list.
If you block a user, they still can see your account, but KinkySpace has additional privacy features you can use to increase your privacy. To access the Privacy Settings log in and click on the Profile [edit] button located on the left hand side of the navigation bar. Select Profile Settings and scroll down the page to edit your profile privacy settings.
For additional blocking of users, select 'Settings' on the navigation bar. Under the settings tab scroll down and add the name of the user you wish to block to the block list. In order to set your profile to private and ensure your privacy you will have to go to your account settings. Log into your account and select Profile [edit] on the navigation bar. Select the 'profile settings' tab and scroll down the page to change your profile privacy settings.
How do I add color and graphics to my KinkySpace Profile?
Adding color, graphics, and sound to your profile page is easy and can be done with our Profile Pimper, or if you want to write your own code, it requires only a basic knowledge CSS (a programming language used to create web pages on the Internet).
Make sure you are logged into your KinkySpace account.
Simply go to 'Profile [edit]'
Enter the desired CSS coding where appropriate.
If you do not know CSS coding, simply select our custom Profile Pimper to create a unique profile. Using the color sliders, you can select any color for the various parts of your profile page. Here you can also place an image in the background, change the font, make your profile transparent, and make other changes to the look of your profile page. Once you are satisfied with the way your profile looks, select 'generate code' on the upper right hand corner of your sample page. Now your profile is pimped! This is easy! Simply select our profile tweaker and you can make slight adjustments to your profile page. Change the color of your font to make it easier to read, change the background or image, make any other adjustment you want and then select 'generate code' on the upper right hand corner of your sample page.
How do I change my default picture?
First, make sure you are logged into your KinkySpace account. On your navigation bar, select 'Profile [edit]'. Choose the 'Photo' tab and upload a new photo. Photos must be less than 4mb in size.
How do I upload music to my page?
On your navigation bar, select 'Music'. Here you can upload new songs or change the look of your music player. You can also change your music settings to make your music auto-play when somebody views your profile. If you do not wish to hear music on other user's profile, you can select 'turn auto-play off' so that you don't have to listen to other users music.
How do I report an error?
Please contact us with a description of the error you received and what you were doing in when you received the error. To report the error, click on the link on the KinkySpace Help Profile that reads 'Report KinkySpace Error'.
I can't login, or I forgot my username or password.
If you can't login, check to make sure that your "caps lock" key is off. Your username and password are CaSe SeNsItIvE. If you still cannot login, you can request to reset your password or contact us. On the navigation bar, select 'Settings'. Under the 'change password' tab, you can change your password.
How do I change my Email address?
Make sure you are logged into your KinkySpace account. On the navigation bar, select 'Settings'. Under the 'settings' tab, you can change your email address.
How can I update my profile?
To update your profile, you must visit the Edit Profile page. You can move through the different parts of your profile by clicking the tabs at the top of the page. We'll be happy to try and resolve it for you. But, if you still want to delete your account the steps are simple to follow. First log in and click 'Settings' on the navigation bar. Then choose the 'Delete Account' tab, and choose 'delete my account'.
Canceling your KinkySpace account will PERMANENTLY REMOVE all of your profile information from KinkySpace, including your photographs, comments, blogs, and your personal network of friends which cannot be restored. In the future, KinkySpace might add paid Premium Services, but all the features that are now on KinkySpace will remain FREE!
